This was our the second visit to the wonderful island of Szczy-Lanka. This time we chose a hotel in Hikkaduwa. The road from the airport took about five hours, the bus was not going fast, because the autobahns provided a speed limit. We were welcomed hospitably, settled in a room overlooking the seething Indian Ocean off the coast.
Service very much, everything is clean, comfortable, without obtrusiveness. We even did not have to pay a tip for such an excellent placement.

In winter they were in Sri Lanka. From Colombo (airport) get 3 hours on the transfer. The hotel was chosen taking into account its very close location to the ocean. This hotel stands on the shore, 1-2 meters from the ocean. Nearby is a coral reef, which makes this beach very calm from the huge and troubled waves of the Indian Ocean.
